Looking Up
Good morning,
Ever since we moved to California, Spring Break has been a big mess. Each of my three children always has a different week of vacation. (The older two are both in different colleges that have different schedules.) This is week #2.
It is always difficult to get any work done during these three weeks of Spring Break because someone is always wanting to talk, shop, head to the beach, etc.
Last week it rained, so I got my work done. This week, it will be sunny and warm. I am probably not going to get much accomplished. And I'm not really sorry either.
I hope you are all enjoying your Spring Breaks or recovering from Spring Break or getting excited while planning your upcoming Spring Break or at least enjoying some lovely spring weather.
take care,
Skye Thomas

Quote of the Week:
Perhaps the most valuable result of all education is the ability to make yourself
do the thing you have to do, when it ought to be done, whether you like it or not;
it is the first lesson that ought to be learned; and however early a man's training
begins, it is probably the last lesson that he learns thoroughly. -
Iron rusts from disuse; water loses its purity from stagnation... even so does inaction
sap the vigor of the mind. -
Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire. -
