Skye’s Looking Up
Good Morning,
Here in the U.S. it’s Memorial Day Weekend. We honor those who have given their lives in service to their country. It’s also the camping and BBQ kick off of the summer. We’re a weird breed, aren’t we?! I suppose that what we love best about this country is our ability to play in a spirit of true freedom. Therefore, what would be more appropriate to honor those who fought for our freedom than to play in the sunshine?
Not everyone agrees as to whether or not we should be at war right now, but we can all agree that we love the soldiers and that we don’t want any harm to come to them. They believe in what they are doing and for that we must respect their bravery and their willingness to put their lives on the line. This is not a political holiday, but one of simply loving those who have offered their lives in service.
Thank you for your sacrifices and for your willingness to give everything. We do love you, now and forever.
Take care,
Skye Thomas

Quote of the Week:
“Someday, after mastering the winds, the waves, the tides and gravity, we shall harness
for God the energies of love, and then, for a second time in the history of the world,
man will have discovered fire.” -

The forecasts went out late last Monday night. Instead of sending the horoscopes in the body of the emails, we simply sent out a link to the individual forecasts. That seemed to work a lot better for most people, as their email systems did not reject our newsletters. ‘Less is best’ seems to be the key to getting them into your inboxes. If you are not on the mailing list, you can head over to the site and check them out. Saturn will be changing signs in July, so we put in quite a bit about what that means to each of the zodiac signs and what to expect in the future as a result.

We’ve added more products to our new Online Shopping Center for each of the twelve zodiac signs. We have quite a few additional items for the general public that will be added to the site over the next few days too. You may want to bookmark this page and check back often.
Feature Article of the Week:
How do I connect with my angels? How many guardian angels do I have? How can I improve the communications between me and my angels? How do I call upon the angels to help me when I need them? I was hoping you would tell me more about how to actually meet my angels and to get them to start talking to me. I see visions and sometimes hear the voices but how do I get it to really open up the channels between us? I wish my angels would talk to me like yours do to you. How do I get the angels to help me to have more accuracy when I’m doing psychic readings for other people? Why can’t I hear or feel my angels like other people can?
These are all forms of the same question and I receive some form of this question in my inbox every single day. I have avoided answering the question for a long time because frankly, I don’t want to tell you. However, I have heard that still small voice all day whispering in my ear, “The Quest for Angels.” It’s got to be the title of an article. I would rather it be about the psychological reasons as to why we want so desperately to connect with our angels at this time in history, but somehow I sense that isn’t what this is going to be about, is it?
Don’t get me wrong, the reason I have avoided this question has nothing to do with the High Council telling me not to or that they don’t want to be bothered or that there is some form of secret handshake that I want to keep all to myself. I don’t want to tell you that more often than not, in my person opinion the quest for angels is a quest for spirituality in general. I think we are looking for a more personal connection than what many religions teach. We don’t want to have to go through special training, rituals, and blessings from holy men in order to be allowed to ask some faceless god to answer our prayers. We want direct access to the heavens and angels allow us to circumvent the entire process of having to ask permission or to have to pray and meditate a certain way.
I personally think that angels will talk to us when we need to be spoken to and the
rest of the time we are on our own to figure it out ourselves. We were never supposed
to have them as our astral mommies put here to wipe our noses and constantly tell
us how special we are. We are supposed to learn how to wipe our own noses and pull
ourselves up by our own bootstraps. Nobody wants to hear what I personally think.
They want me to reveal some secret that will get them an open two-
I want you to connect with each other when you’re bored, lonely, and scared. Find

Think of heaven as home. We all love that place that feels like home, a safe haven away from all of the hustle and bustle, that place that is our spiritual oasis of unconditional love. Now, imagine a lifetime here on earth as kids being sent off to camp. Summer camp is exciting and fun but can also be a bit scary if it’s our first time leaving home. It’s only natural to be a bit homesick and to want to telephone our folks and to be reassured that they still love us and that home is still there for us. But keep in mind, parents don’t send their children away to summer camp so that they can whine and cry on the phone about how much they miss home. We send our children to camp so that they can learn, laugh, play, get out and stretch beyond their comfort zones. If we spend all of our time calling home and counting down the days until we can get back home, then we miss out on those sweet first kisses of summer romance. We miss out on how to row our own canoe, how to swim across the lake by ourselves, how to befriend other kids from different cultures than our own. Yes, of course we will go home. And yes if we misbehave badly enough, there will be consequences when we get back home. But we aren’t supposed to be so afraid of misbehaving that we don’t have any fun or learn anything new. We were sent here to live life.
Does that mean that we should never ever try to connect with our angels? No, of course not. It just means that we are here to learn how to communicate with each other. We are supposed to be reaching out to one another. The entire point of being here is to learn how to love, really love others here on earth. We already love our angels, our saints, our gods, and goddesses. It’s easy to love them. The hardest thing is to learn how to love other humans. Learn how to love each other and the angels will smile upon you.
For your magic handshake that will open the doors to heaven… I’ve never found it. Everything I’ve ever read, tried, or succeeded at centered around the same basic teaching. Quiet your mind, ask them to show you a sign, then watch for a sign. Quiet your mind, ask them to whisper something in your ear, listen for the message. That’s it. Sometimes they answer and sometimes they don’t. Do something absolutely pure and unselfish for someone else, and the angels will warm your heart and you will feel their presence. It’s really that simple. Love each other and the angels will smile upon you.
